There are 17 weeks to go until the R2C, and that means that are two weeks until the 15 week training program begins. At that point we should all be running 15 total miles a week. If you take a look at the posted training program you will see that, in general, there are 3 running days a week (but there are a few with 4 day weeks), and that the runs are easy, tempo and then a long run on the weekends. The goal will be to ramp up our individual miles slowly, increasing no more than about 10% a week, which will usually mean weekly increases of a mile. You will all get a lot more guidance from Laura, and of course, each individual may want to tweak the training schedule to accommodate your own schedules or injuries.
This weekend saw some big miles put up on the board- 9 miles, 8.2 miles and the Crusher/Aunt Molly loop. Keep up the great work, the mild weather will make runs a lot easier and more fun (at least until June). I will watch for updates and photos from across the pond and maybe I can post some of my runs as well. See you all soon.

I'm back, but only for a couple of days
Laura and I have found a great half-marathon training plan, and you can take a look here.
